Woodstock may conjure up images of the famous music festival that took place in 1969, although not even in Woodstock, but there is a whole lot more to this beautiful area than one might think. It is indeed a very artistic place, well-known for its amazing artists and craftsmen, as well as several excellent music venues. It is an amazing little town with many endearing qualities that has drawn a long list of famous people to take up residence there. There have been musicians, like Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. There have been actors, like Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, and Uma Thurman, plus a long list of famous artists, writers, and film directors. It is a second home or vacation getaway for many residents of Manhattan as well. This speaks to the quality and serenity that Woodstock has to offer. Needless to say, the Woodstock real estate market is healthy.
