Exciting Books Provide An Escape From Reality

Have you ever noticed that some people really love to read books... especially books of fiction, sometimes with unusual or exciting stories? Have you ever wondered why these peoplelove to read so much?

Reading an exciting book, just like going to an adventurous movie, is actually an escape from reality, at least for a little while. In fact, it can be any type of movie or book, even something humorous, romantic, or fantasy-like. Take for example, the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory from 1971, starring Gene Wilder: who does not love this movie, and the "escape from reality" that it provides?

When it comes to exciting books, there have always been tons of loyal readers to things such as Harry Potter books, or James Bond stories. Even the new and exciting novel from David Gehlhausen... The St. Augustine Affair: Jade and Heather Monarch Romantic Spy Adventure Series... gives a wonderful escape to the reader. The bookis also very entertaining, since the first story takes place in the Florida sunshine. When a terrorist kidnaps a child from an orphanage, it gets the reader "hooked" on a fascinating story. These types of "exciting and unique" stories, give the readers a chance to forget about their own lives, and to ignore the worries of the world.

Am I the only one who thinks watching an episode of Lost, CSI,Survivor, etc, is a waste of time?
