As matter of justice one who commits wrong is a wrong doer and he should be held responsible for that wrong. However there are some circumstances where one is held responsible for the wrongs committed by others. This rule is called vicarious liability. This concept makes law of tort similar to criminal law in Sec. 34 and 149 of Pakistan Penal Code.
