Direct selling is a unique marketing strategy. Though it is not new to India, it has not been able to achieve the status of retail marketing. But now it is slowly catching up and becoming popular. The credit of popularizing this concept in India goes to Amway. Their marketing concept involving direct selling and multi-level marketing have helped in opening up new avenues of employment and revenue generation in India. William S.
